The lists are ranked by the "% difference," which is the absolute value of the difference between the percent of critics' ballots on which a film appeared and the percent of directors' ballots on which a film appeared. For example, if a film appeared on 9.74% of the directors' ballots and 5.31% of the critics' ballots, the % difference would be 4.43%.
